Doctorvenue is an online platform designed for doctors, chambers, and general users. Doctors can register by providing their personal, academic, and professional details. By updating their chamber profiles, doctors can manage their dashboard, set schedules, and make changes or cancellations as needed.
General users (patients) can register on the site and search for doctors based on category, district, upozila/police station, and gender. They can view doctor schedules and contact details.
This privacy policy explains how Doctorvenue collects, uses, stores, and discloses information from doctors, chambers, and general users.
Information Collected, Stored, and Published by Doctorvenue
- Doctors' Personal Information:
- Doctor’s Name: Doctors must register using a name that matches their National ID and BMDC (Bangladesh Medical & Dental Council) records. This name is stored and published.
- BMDC Number: A valid BMDC registration number is required for registration and is stored and published.
- Parents' Names & Date of Birth: To verify identity, information such as the doctor’s name, parents’ names, and date of birth may be collected via phone and stored.
- Phone Number & Email: Contact details are collected for registration and communication.
- Category/Specialization: The doctor’s area of expertise is stored.
- Address: Both current and permanent addresses are collected and stored.
- Photograph: Uploaded photos are stored to help general users easily recognize doctors.
- Doctors' Professional Information:
After registration, doctors can update their professional history (e.g., past institutions, titles, addresses, timeframes). Multiple entries can be added. Doctorvenue reserves the right to collect, store, and publish this information. - Doctors' Academic Information:
Doctors may provide details about degrees and courses (e.g., MBBS, BDS). Multiple academic entries can be added. Doctorvenue may store and publish these.
Chamber Information Collected, Stored, and Published
Government hospitals and private institutions registered with the DGHS (Directorate General of Health Services), diagnostic centers, clinics, nursing homes, and pharmacies registered with the DGDA (Directorate General of Drug Administration), where doctors provide services, can be registered as chambers.
- Chamber Name:
Chambers must register using their official name, matching the name approved by the respective authority. This name is stored and published. - Chamber Registrant’s Info:
The person registering the institution must provide their name, address, phone number, role/title in the organization, and a photo. This information is stored. - Certification from Authorities:
Certificates and registration numbers from DGHS or DGDA (clear scanned or photographed copies) are required and stored. - Chamber Address:
Addresses are collected and published so users can locate the chamber easily. - Chamber Phone Number:
Active phone numbers are collected and published to help users reach the chamber for inquiries about services, location, and doctor availability.
General Users' Information Collected, Stored, and Published
Patients can register by providing their name, address, date of birth, phone number, and email. These details are collected and stored.
Additionally, Doctorvenue collects:
- Personal Information:
Includes name, address, age, phone number, email, date of birth, and photo. - Disease, Doctor, and Prescription History:
Doctorvenue collects and stores information about diseases described, consulted doctors, and prescriptions received. - Browsing Information:
